Convergence: Superman # 1 2015 VF/NM

Convergence: Superman #1 (2015), written by Dan Jurgens with art by Lee Weeks, stars the pre-Flashpoint version of Superman and his pregnant wife Lois Lane as they adjust to life without powers, only to be thrust into a battle with heroes from the Flashpoint universe. 

Plot Synopsis

The story is set in a domed version of Gotham City, where all superpowers have been nullified for a year. 

• A Powerless Vigilante: Stripped of his abilities, Clark Kent becomes a street-level vigilante in a black, masked outfit, using his fighting skills to battle crime (specifically a deadly drug trade). His wife, the very pregnant Lois Lane, acts as his "Oracle," providing technical support from a lab.
• The Dome Drops: During a patrol, as a gang member attacks him with a flamethrower, the dome lifts and Superman's powers are instantly restored, saving him from the flames. The entity Telos announces the multiversal tournament.
• The Flashpoint Foes: The pre-Flashpoint Superman's city is pitted against the city from the Flashpoint timeline. The Flashpoint heroes—including a brutal Batman (Thomas Wayne), Cyborg, Captain Thunder, and Green Lantern (Abin Sur)—decide to strike first, believing it's the only way to save their own war-torn world.
• The Cliffhanger: As the Flashpoint League ambushes Superman, the Flashpoint version of Kal-El (a skinny, government-raised, emotionally fragile version of Superman from that reality) flies to find the pre-Flashpoint Lois Lane, hoping to "save" her from an impending battle with his own world's version of Doomsday, as his Lois had died in that conflict. The issue ends with Lois in danger and Superman under attack.
