Convergence: The Adventures of Superman #2 (2015) concludes the miniseries, bringing the conflict to a head as Superman and Supergirl, aided by a surprising ally, fight off an invasion from the Kamandi universe. 

Plot Synopsis

The issue begins with Superman (Kal-El) and Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) still trapped in the Phantom Zone and battling Kryptonian criminals, while their domed Gotham City is under attack by the technologically advanced Ape-Men (Manhawks) from the Kamandi future (Earth-AD).

• Escape from the Phantom Zone: The cousins manage to defeat the Phantom Zone criminals. Lucius Fox, back in Gotham, activates their escape route. Superman is pulled back to Gotham first, leaving Supergirl to fight a massive "Ghost Dragon" creature alone, proving her immense power.
• The Tide Turns: Back on Earth-One, Superman and Lucius Fox team up with a surprise ally who appears from a portal: the original, Golden Age Green Lantern (Alan Scott). Scott, working on his own mission, helps them fix the Phantom Zone Projector to bring Supergirl back safely.
• The Final Battle: Reunited, the three heroes launch a counter-attack against the Ape-Men and their leader, the Scientist-General. Superman and Supergirl make short work of the technologically advanced but physically outmatched invaders.
• A New Alliance: The issue ends with the heroes having successfully defended their city. Lucius Fox sends the remaining technology from his lab through Alan Scott's portal to help him on his multiversal quest. The pre-Crisis Superman and Supergirl stand ready to face the larger threats of the Convergence event as a united front.
