Convergence: World's Finest # 1 2015 VF/NM

Convergence: World's Finest #1 (2015) tells an unusual, somber tale of the Pre-Crisis Seven Soldiers of Victory from Earth-Two as they struggle under Brainiac's dome and face an invasion from Qward. The story is uniquely narrated through the perspective of cartoonist Scribbly Jibbet. 

Story Summary

The issue centers on the Seven Soldiers of Victory from the Pre-Crisis Earth-Two, whose city of Metropolis was one of the many trapped on the planet Telos. 

• Life Under the Dome: The dome removes the heroes' powers, forcing them to live mundane lives for a year. The story is primarily narrated by Scribbly Jibbet, a cartoonist who chronicles their experiences. During this time, the team faces human frailties: Stripesy dies from pneumonia, and the Shining Knight, Sir Justin, ages rapidly into a wizened old man without the magic that sustained his youth. Green Arrow and Speedy had already died during the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
• The Dome Falls: When the dome surrounding their city is finally lifted, their powers return. The city is immediately attacked by the Weaponers of Qward from the Anti-Matter Universe.
• Telos' Proclamation: Telos, the sentient planet-turned-humanoid, appears to the Shining Knight and Scribbly, announcing that the cities must fight for survival. Scribbly realizes they are likely doomed and continues to document the grim situation.
• The Fight for Survival: The remaining active members of the Seven Soldiers of Victory must regroup to defend their world against the Qwardian invasion in the ensuing battle for survival.
