Daredevil Noir # 1 2009 VF/NM

Daredevil Noir # 1 is the first issue of a four-part limited series published by Marvel Comics in June 2009, offering a 1930s film noir take on the Man Without Fear. The comic is not a major key issue but is a popular collectible within the Marvel Noir alternate continuity. 

• Creative Team: Written by Alexander Irvine with art and cover by Tomm Coker and inks by Daniel Freedman. A variant cover was also available by Dennis Calero.
• Main Plot: Set in Prohibition-era Hell's Kitchen, the story follows private investigator (P.I.) Foggy Nelson and his assistant, the blind Matt Murdock. A mysterious woman named Eliza comes to their office with a story about escaping the new, rising gangster Orville Halloran, drawing Murdock's vigilante persona, Daredevil, into a turf war between Halloran and the established Kingpin, Wilson Fisk.
