Daredevil: Reborn # 1 is the opening chapter of a four-part miniseries published by Marvel Comics in January 2011. It serves as the bridge between the dark events of the Shadowland crossover and Mark Waid’s acclaimed 2011 relaunch of the main Daredevil series. 

• Creative Team: Written by Andy Diggle, with interior art and pencils by Davide Gianfelice. The striking standard cover was illustrated by Jock.
• Story Arc: Following his fall from grace as leader of The Hand in Shadowland, a disillusioned Matt Murdock has abandoned New York City.
• Plot: Matt travels to a small desert town in New Mexico where he encounters local corruption and an illegal weapons trade involving the police and a drug smuggler named Calavera. The issue focuses on Matt’s internal struggle to decide if he can ever truly walk away from his life as a hero.
