Dark Knight III: The Master Race # 7 published by DC Comics on December 28, 2016, is the penultimate chapter of the nine-issue limited series co-written by Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello. 

Following a brutal battle that left Gotham City in ruins, this issue focuses on the emotional and physical fallout of the Kryptonian invasion. 

• The Resurrection of Batman: After Bruce Wayne was mortally wounded in the previous issue, Superman flies him to a Lazarus Pit. Despite initial psychotic rage upon emerging, Batman is restored to a younger physical state—roughly in his late 20s—with his full strength and athleticism returned.
• The Amazonian Conflict: On Paradise Island (Themyscira), Wonder Woman’s daughter Lara returns to retrieve her infant half-brother, Jonathan. She arrives with the villainous Kryptonians, leading to a high-stakes standoff with Wonder Woman.
• Carrie Kelley's Role: Back in Gotham, Carrie Kelley (now operating as Batwoman/Robin) assumes duty for the city alongside Commissioner Yindel after believing her mentor was dead.
• The Minicomic: Like other issues in this series, it includes a 16-page minicomic titled "Strange Adventures," which focuses on Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) regaining his power.
