DC Comics Presents: Green Lantern #1 is a 96-page special released on October 6, 2010, during the Brightest Day event. It collects classic stories intended to catch new readers up on the history of Kyle Rayner and Jade following her resurrection. 

Plot and Collected Issues

The one-shot collects the four-part "Nero" story arc originally published in Green Lantern (Vol. 3) #137–140. 

• Starring Characters: The issue focuses on the peak of the romantic relationship between Kyle Rayner and Jade (Jennifer-Lynn Hayden).
• The Conflict: Kyle Rayner faces off against Nero, an escaped mental patient granted a Yellow Power Ring by the Qwardians.
• Purpose: It served as a "peek back in time" for readers of the then-current Brightest Day storyline, which heavily featured Jade after her return to life.
