• Batman: Enters the tournament seeking the prize money to fund his war on crime.
• Lady Shiva: A master assassin who uses the tournament to test her skills.
• Connor Hawke (Green Arrow): He seeks the wish to bring back his mother.
• The Question (Vic Sage): An investigative journalist who believes the tournament is corrupt and wants to expose it.
• Bronze Tiger: A classic martial arts villain hoping for a second chance.
• Action-Packed Debut: The first issue is heavy on action, featuring an intense, visceral fight sequence between Batman and Lady Shiva, setting the stage for the tournament's brutality.
