Deathstroke Inc. #1 2021 NM-

Deathstroke Inc. #1 (2021) is the debut issue of a series that sees Slade Wilson attempting to turn over a new leaf by joining a secret organization called T.R.U.S.T., where he is partnered with Black Canary. 

After suffering personal losses and feeling it is time for a change, Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) is recruited by an ages-old secret organization known as T.R.U.S.T. (Transparent Researchers United for Strategy and Technology). T.R.U.S.T.'s stated mission is to take down powerful villains, offering Slade resources and a new path. 

His first assignment involves a bizarre, almost suburban, town which is actually a front for a new iteration of the H.I.V.E. (Hierarchy of International Vexation and Extermination) led by the H.I.V.E. Queen. Deathstroke is partnered with the hero Black Canary (Dinah Drake) for the mission, creating an "odd couple" dynamic where her subtle approach clashes with his "guns blazing" style. 

While on the mission to capture the H.I.V.E. Queen alive, secrets begin to surface. The issue heavily implies that T.R.U.S.T. might have ulterior, potentially sinister, motives and is not as transparent as its name suggests. Black Canary is hinted to be a mole within the organization, and the entire setup seems designed to manipulate Deathstroke into becoming the "King of the Super-Villains" for a brewing mystery in the DC Universe's shadows.
