Edge of Spider-Verse #1 (2023) is the first issue of a four-part Marvel Comics limited anthology series Edge of Spider-Verse (2023), published on May 3, 2023. The issue features two wildly contrasting stories that showcase the bizarre and diverse nature of the Marvel Multiverse:

Story 1: "Enter: Kravertooth the Hunter"

• The Plot: Pivoting sharply from dinosaur comedy into psychological horror, this story introduces Spider-Killer, described as one of the creepiest and most unsettling Spider-characters ever introduced.
• The Style: Written like a black-and-white noir thriller blended with an almost H.P. Lovecraft-style cosmic horror, the story tracks a shadowy mystery filled with tension as the Spider-Killer stalks his victims from the darkness.
