Fantastic Four #1 (released July 9, 2025) marks the start of a "New Era" for Marvel's First Family. This volume is written by Ryan North and illustrated by Humberto Ramos, launching alongside the anticipation for the MCU's First Steps film. 

Core Storyline: "Scattered Through Time"

The issue begins with the team confronting Doctor Doom, who has become the world's emperor and wields the powers of the Sorcerer Supreme. 

• The Displacement: During the battle, Doom banishes the four heroes to completely different eras in Earth's history.
• Isolated Survival:
• The Human Torch (Johnny Storm): Stranded in a primordial era before complex life existed, struggling with low oxygen levels.
• The Thing (Ben Grimm): Trapped in a prehistoric era where he must fight off several Mapusauruses (dinosaurs).
• Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards): Dropped into the year 1266 (the Middle Ages), where he must remain undetected.
• Invisible Woman (Sue Storm): Sent to the distant future where the Sun is dying and humanity is extinct.
• The Forever Stone: Their only link is a mass of dense granite known as the Forever Stone. Because it remains intact and accessible throughout geological history, each member uses it to leave messages for the others in their respective timelines.
