Plot Summary: "The Dreadnok War" 

The story begins with Cobra Commander being betrayed by one of his closest allies while searching for Energon. He is targeted for revenge by the Dreadnoks, who are seeking retribution for fatalities caused during the events of the Cobra Commander miniseries. In a desperate situation, Duke saves the Commander from certain death, resulting in the two bitter rivals being handcuffed together as they flee across a desert to escape the pursuing "Mad Max-style" road warriors. Meanwhile, back at the Cobra base, Destro declares himself the new leader.
