Godzilla vs. Hulk # 1 Foil Variant 2025 NM-

Godzilla vs. Hulk # 1, released on April 16, 2025, is the second installment in the Godzilla vs. Marvel one-shot crossover event series. Written by Gerry Duggan and illustrated by Giuseppe Camuncoli, the issue pits the King of the Monsters against the Incredible Hulk and General Ross's anti-kaiju task force, the Thunderbolts. 

• The Conflict: General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, leading his task force the Thunderbolts, has been hunting and capturing major monsters like Fin Fang Foom and Mothra. His ultimate target is Godzilla.
• The Battle: The story features a "no-holds-barred" brawl between Godzilla and the Hulk to determine who is truly the "strongest there is".
• A Common Enemy: The battle is interrupted by Dr. Demonicus, who uses his genetic research at "Thunderbolt Ranch" to unleash a new amalgamated monster named Hedorah (the Smog Monster), created from the remains of other slain kaiju.
• "Hulkzilla": In a pivotal scene, the Hulk resolves to help a weakened Godzilla by driving a power cable into the kaiju's chest and spilling his own gamma-irradiated blood into Godzilla's wound. This briefly transforms the monster into a "Hulk-like" form with green eyes, allowing Godzilla to vaporize Hedorah with a supercharged gamma-atomic blast.
• Conclusion: After the battle, both titans collapse as their gamma rage fades. Bruce Banner returns to human form and encourages General Ross to abandon his vendetta against monsters, noting that "monsters stick together".

• Series: Part of a six-issue event of one-shots (including Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Man, and Thor) celebrating Godzilla's 70th anniversary.
