Plot Summary of Issue #1

The issue opens on the frontier planet Avoca, where a mysterious Batman in advanced power armor is hunting "shadow monsters". 

• The Conflict: On the same planet, Sheriff Bruce Wayne and Mayor Harvey Dent are investigating a series of gruesome murders.
• The Twist: The armored Batman attacks Sheriff Wayne, claiming he is actually a Shadow in disguise. To prove his point, Batman reveals his true identity: he is the real Bruce Wayne, making the Sheriff an impostor.
• The Revelation: After a battle, the impostor is revealed to be a "Two-Faced Man," a new breed of Shadow capable of impersonating humans.
