Indestructible Hulk Special # 1 2013 NM-

Indestructible Hulk Special # 1 released on October 16, 2013, is the second chapter of the three-part Marvel crossover event "The Arms of the Octopus". It follows the team-up between the Indestructible Hulk, the Superior Spider-Man, and the time-displaced original X-Men. 

The story picks up from All-New X-Men Special #1, with Bruce Banner being called to Empire State University to consult on a mysterious, radiation-emitting Doctor Octopus who should not exist. 

• The Mission: While the Superior Spider-Man (Otto Octavius in Peter Parker's body) and the young All-New X-Men investigate the paradox of Doc Ock's appearance, Banner uses his expertise in gamma radiation to help solve the mystery.
• The Conflict: The investigation is interrupted by the shocking return of the Abomination, a villain who was long believed to be dead.
• The Twist: During a brutal battle, the Hulk decapitates the Abomination, revealing it to be an advanced robot. Simultaneously, the Beast discovers an underground laboratory belonging to Dr. Jude, containing schematics for robotic duplicates of both Doc Ock and the Abomination.
• Conclusion: The issue ends on a cliffhanger as Dr. Jude sabotages a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicopter, leading into the finale in Superior Spider-Man Team-Up Special #1.
