Story Synopsis 

The debut issue, titled "The Past Is a Weapon," introduces a high-stakes arms race centered not on Tony's armor, but on his genius intellect. 

• The Plot: Tony Stark hosts the inaugural "Tony Stark Award" ceremony to honor the world's brightest minds. The event is hijacked by Madame Masque and A.I.M., who kidnap all the finalists—including the winner, Adam Ware—intending to use their collective intelligence to create a new "Tony Stark" they can control.
• The Conflict: Madame Masque is no longer just looking to steal tech; she is attempting to recreate the high-pressure conditions of the cave that originally forged Iron Man to turn these scientists into living weapons.
• The Twist: Tony realizes that the kidnapped scientists are part of a discarded Civil War-era contingency plan of his own, which A.I.M. has now weaponized against him.
