Knight Terrors: Shazam! # 1 published by DC Comics on July 11, 2023 (September 2023 cover date), is the first issue of a two-part tie-in mini-series to the Knight Terrors event, focusing on the nightmares of Mary Marvel.

• Evil Billy Batson: Her nightmares are personified by a dark, "Black Adam" version of her brother, Billy Batson (Nightmare Captain), who insists she is inept and brutally kills their foster siblings in front of her.
• Character Exploration: The issue delves into Mary's fear of failing her family and her struggle to live up to her responsibilities as the oldest sibling and a superhero.
