Lex Luthor: Diabolical Genius Store Promo Poster 2026 is a humorous, kid-friendly graphic novel published by DC Comics on July 7, 2026. Written by Christof Bogacs with fun, cartoony illustrations by Valerio Chiola, the book is designed for readers aged 8 to 12 years old. The promotional posters for the release highlight a fresh, comedic look at the iconic supervillain's early years.
Story Overview
The graphic novel follows a pre-teen version of Lex Luthor who is already a pint-sized inventor and criminal mastermind. When his father, Lionel Luthor, is thrown into prison by Superman, young Lex swears vengeance to restore the family name.
He cooks up a diabolical plot to kidnap Lois Lane (who is an enterprising young intern at the time) with the help of his imposing bodyguard and pseudo-guardian, Slade Wilson. Lex assumes Superman will trade anything for her safe return—including his ultimate weakness. However, the plan goes hilariously off the rails when Clark Kent calls in his broody, tactical friend Batman to investigate instead. What follows is a fast-paced, action-packed game of cat-and-mouse between a teenage super-genius and the World's Greatest Detective.
