Plot Summary

The story follows Marc Spector after he has been locked up and held captive for weeks by a group known as the Byzantine Agency, who were interrogating him for information about an old friend. After finally breaking free and cheating death, Moon Knight returns to the Midnight Mission only to discover a new crisis: his core allies have vanished.

While dealing with the trauma of his captivity, Marc consults with Dr. Andrea Sterman. He learns that his friends—including Tigra, Soldier, 8-Ball, and Dr. Bader—entered a mysterious, living building that the police cannot perceive, and they never came back out. Disregarding warnings that operating while wounded and angry will lead to his downfall, an enraged Moon Knight retrieves a sacred, soul-collecting blade named Genar from the Mission. Alongside his remaining contacts, Flint and Frasier, he prepares to enter the anomalous house himself to hunt down whatever took his team.
