Midnight Sons Unlimited # 1 1993 NM

Midnight Sons Unlimited # 1 April 1993 is an 80-page giant anthology that expanded Marvel's supernatural "Midnight Sons" line. The issue features four distinct stories spotlighting different members of the group as they deal with occult threats. 

Story 1: "Eyes of the Beholder"

• Characters: Ghost Rider (Danny Ketch) and Johnny Blaze.
• Plot: The duo travels to a town in the Hudson River Valley (specifically Sleepy Hollow) to investigate a series of child murders. They discover a monstrous creature created by a lost page of the Darkhold that is being controlled by a vengeful crippled woman. Ghost Rider eventually ends the threat by using his Penance Stare on the woman.
• Creative Team: Written by Howard Mackie with art by Klaus Janson and Gregory Wright. 

Story 2: "From the Light, Darkness"

• Characters: The Darkhold Redeemers.
• Plot: A prisoner becomes possessed and tormented after coming into contact with a cursed page from the Darkhold.
• Creative Team: Written by Chris Cooper with art by Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti. 

Story 3: "On the Wings of Angels"

• Characters: The Nightstalkers (Blade, Frank Drake, and Hannibal King).
• Plot: The vampire-hunting team rescues a young girl from a pack of supernatural gargoyles.
• Creative Team: Written by D.G. Chichester with art by Cynthia Martin and Joe Rubinstein. 

Story 4: "Blood Is Thicker..."

• Characters: Morbius, the Living Vampire.
• Plot: Morbius is stalked by the grieving father of a woman he had killed in the past, forcing him to face the consequences of his bloodlust.
• Creative Team: Written by Len Wein with art by Jerry Bingham and Tom Smith. 

• Quarterly Format: This issue launched a quarterly series designed to weave together the various satellite titles of the Midnight Sons brand.
• Cover Art: The iconic wraparound cover was illustrated by Mark Texeira.
