Ms. Marvel: Beyond the Limit # 1 2021 NM

Ms. Marvel: Beyond the Limit # 1 is the first issue of a five-part limited series published by Marvel Comics, released on December 22, 2021. This series marked the comic book debut of New York Times best-selling author Samira Ahmed.

The story begins with Kamala Khan taking a break from her superhero duties in Jersey City to visit her cousin, Razia, a brilliant physicist at a university in Chicago. 

• The Incident: During the visit, a robbery at Razia's physics lab leads to an explosion involving an interdimensional "Polchinski Box". Kamala intervenes as Ms. Marvel, but after coming into contact with the device's energy, she begins to experience multiversal visions and glitches in her powers.
• The "Bollywood" Twist: Upon returning home to Jersey City, Kamala finds her reality has been inexplicably transformed into a Bollywood movie set. Her friends and family are singing and dancing in choreographed routines, and Kamala herself is suddenly dressed in a "Bollywood" version of her costume.
• New Threats: The issue ends with Kamala facing a "doppelgänger" version of herself and a surreal encounter with Loki.
