Story Summary

The issue continues the nightmare on Misery Island as a strange infestation of blood-drinking butterflies spreads. These insects carry a "Dancing Plague" that causes victims to dance uncontrollably before they are consumed. 

• The Conflict: As the village descends into madness, the local reverend, Pastor Grant, rallies the townspeople to "cast out the demonic plague" by targeting Amos Hall, the man he blames for the infestation.
• The Struggle: Amos and Lillian must grasp the true magnitude of the butterfly swarm as the town turns to violence and paranoia.
