Nightcrawler # 2 1985 VF/NM

Nightcrawler # 2, published in December 1985, continues the swashbuckling adventure of the X-Man as he is held captive by the evil sorcerer Shagreen in a bizarre, alien dimension. 

The story, titled "A Boggie Day in L'un Dun-T'wn," picks up after Nightcrawler and Lockheed were captured by pirates and sold into slavery. 

• Captivity and Neutralized Powers: Nightcrawler is taken to Shagreen's floating citadel, L'un Dun-T'wn. The sorcerer places him in a device that analyzes and, more importantly, neutralizes his teleportation ability, leaving him trapped.
• New Allies: While captive, Nightcrawler is discovered by the Boggies, mischievous imps who are also prisoners in the citadel. They free him from the device, and Nightcrawler agrees to help them escape in return for their assistance.
• The Rescue: Shagreen kidnaps a beautiful princess named Sabree and intends to sacrifice her to his dark god, Cthuma-Gurath. Nightcrawler navigates the citadel and rescues the princess, engaging Shagreen in a sword fight aboard the sorcerer's sky-galleon.
• Accidental Teleportation: Back on Earth, Kitty Pryde and Illyana Rasputin continue their attempts to bring Nightcrawler back home using the Danger Room portal. In one attempt, Kitty only manages to retrieve his costume, much to the princess's surprise. On the second attempt, she accidentally pulls him out of Shagreen's dimension entirely.
• A New World and a "Son": Nightcrawler is unceremoniously dropped into a different, grassy alien world. The issue ends on a cliffhanger as he encounters a small, blue, dwarf-like creature that looks remarkably like him and calls him "Daddy". 

The issue continues the lighthearted, fun-filled tone of the miniseries, focusing on high adventure and humor as created by writer and artist Dave Cockrum.
