Ninja Slayer Kills # 1 is the debut volume of a cyberpunk action manga based on the Ninja Slayer novels. Written and illustrated by Koutarou Sekine, this adaptation was originally published in English by Kodansha Comics in September 2015. 

Plot Overview 

Set in the dystopian, neon-lit metropolis of Neo-Saitama, the story follows Kenji Fujikido, a regular salaryman whose life is shattered when his wife and child are killed in a "ninja turf war". 

• The Transformation: After nearly dying himself, Fujikido is possessed by an enigmatic, ancient ninja soul known as Naraku Ninja.
• The Mission: This possession transforms him into the Ninja Slayer, a vengeful grim reaper dedicated to annihilating every "wicked" ninja in the city, particularly the high-ranking members of the Soukai Syndicate.
• The Conflict: Fujikido must battle his way through various cybernetically enhanced ninjas while struggling to maintain control over the bloodthirsty Naraku spirit within him.
