Secret Six # 1 (2025), released on March 5, 2025, is the debut of a six-issue DC All In limited series. Written by Nicole Maines with art by Stephen Segovia, it follows an unlikely alliance between heroes and villains tasked with tracking down an escaped Amanda Waller. 

Plot Summary 

The story is set in the aftermath of the Absolute Power event. While the Justice League has returned and Amanda Waller was believed to be imprisoned at Belle Reve, Nia Nal (Dreamer) discovers that Waller has mysteriously vanished from her high-security cell. 

• The Mission: Dreamer, along with Jon Kent (Superman) and his boyfriend Jay Nakamura (Gossamer), must recover the classified secrets stored in Waller's head before the newly reformed Checkmate seizes global power.
• Reluctant Alliance: The three young heroes are forced to team up with seasoned Secret Six veterans and former villains: Deadshot, Catman, and Black Alice.
• Emotional Conflict: The team is fraught with internal tension. Jay Nakamura holds a grudge against Dreamer for her role in the death of his mother during Absolute Power, while Black Alice remains resentful of Dreamer's past actions in the Suicide Squad.
