Spider-Man and the X-Men # 1 2015 NM-

Spider-Man and the X-Men #1 released in February 2015, is the debut of a six-issue limited series that follows Spider-Man joining the faculty of the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. 

Core Storyline: "The New Guidance Counselor" 

The series serves as a continuation of Wolverine and the X-Men following the death of Logan. 

• The Mission: Per Wolverine's final request, Spider-Man becomes the school's new guidance counselor. Secretly, Logan tasked him with investigating a potential mole within the student body.
• The Special Class: Spidey is assigned a group of "troubled" students considered most likely to turn into supervillains, including Hellion, Rockslide, Shark-Girl, Glob Herman, Ernst, No-Girl, and Eye-Boy.
• The Conflict: The X-Men faculty—particularly Storm and Beast—are initially hostile toward having a non-mutant teacher.
• The Villains: While on a field trip to the Natural History Museum, the class is attacked and captured by the prehistoric villain duo Sauron and Stegron the Dinosaur Man, who reveal they have transformed Staten Island into a "New Savage Land".
