Spider-Woman #1 (2023) is the debut of a new solo series by writer Steve Foxe and artist Carola Borelli. Released on November 29, 2023, it serves as a key tie-in to the Marvel crossover event Gang War. 

Story & Plot Details

The series reintroduces Jessica Drew to the Marvel Universe after she was recently "restored" to reality following the events of the Spider-Verse. 

• The Missing Son: While the world remembers Jessica again, her infant son, Gerry, is still missing from existence.
• Gang War Tie-in: Spider-Man reaches out to recruit Jessica for a new team to handle the massive gang conflict erupting in New York City.
• The Villains: The Viper has formed a deadly alliance between Hydra and Diamondback. This union introduces a new threat that targets Spider-Woman personally.
• A Dark Secret: Jessica is hiding her son's disappearance from her closest friends, including Captain Marvel, treating it as a "shameful burden" while she hunts for him alone.
