Spirit of the Tao # 1 1998 NM-

Spirit of the Tao # 1 June 1998 by Top Cow Productions (an imprint of Image Comics), is a fantasy action comic that introduces a modern-day battle for the fate of the Earth. 

The story centers on Lance and Jasmine, two college students who are the current incarnations of the Spirit of the Tao—a powerful dragon spirit. 

• The Prophecy: The Spirit of the Tao is prophesied to destroy humanity whenever it becomes a threat to the planet's survival.
• The Conflict: A group known as the Tao Hunters attempts to track and destroy the duo to prevent them from fulfilling their destructive destiny.
• The Mentor: Lance and Jasmine are trained by their mentor, Lang, who fears they are not yet ready to control the immense powers they possess.
