Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Special #1, published by Marvel Comics on April 17, 2019, is a canonical anthology issue that features three distinct stories set during the Original Trilogy era. 

The Stories

The issue highlights both legendary icons and lesser-known heroes and villains: 

• "The Long Game": Written by Simon Spurrier with art by Caspar Wijngaard, this story features the assassin droid IG-88. It explores the droid's lethal reputation and his calculating approach to a bounty that spans five years, showcasing his "perfection" as a hunter.
• "The Trial of Dagobah": Written by Marc Guggenheim with art by Andrea Broccardo, this tale follows Yoda during his exile on Dagobah. It depicts his daily struggles and a vision that ultimately provides him with hope as he witnesses the arrival of a "new hope," Luke Skywalker.
• "Stolen Valor": Written and illustrated by Jon Adams, this story focuses on Rebel pilots Biggs Darklighter and Jek Porkins. While on a rare vacation at a luxury resort, they find themselves unable to fully escape the galactic conflict after a run-in with a vacationing Imperial officer.
