Star Wars: Age of Resistance — Rose Tico #1, published by Marvel Comics on September 18, 2019. It is the seventh one-shot in the Age of Resistance series and focuses on the backstory of sisters Rose and Paige Tico. 

Plot Summary: "My Hero"

The story is a slow-paced, emotional look at the Tico sisters' life before joining the Resistance. 

• Early Life on Hays Minor: Growing up on their peaceful homeworld, the sisters are inseparable, playing in flight simulators and dreaming of the stars.
• The First Order's Arrival: The First Order invades Hays Minor to strip it of its resources, poisoning the air and destroying the land.
• Resistance Origins: Despite their home being destroyed and losing their parents, the sisters never give up. They eventually flee to join the Resistance, with Rose using her mechanical skills to sabotage First Order mining operations before they depart.
• The Bond: The issue deepens the connection between the sisters, making Paige's eventual sacrifice in The Last Jedi even more impactful.
