Star Wars: Age of Resistance Special #1, published by Marvel Comics on July 31, 2019, is an anthology one-shot featuring three standalone stories from the Sequel Trilogy era. 

Plot Summaries

The special issue includes the following three stories:

• "Maz's Scoundrels": Written by Tom Taylor with art by Matteo Scalera. The "Pirate Queen" of Takodana, Maz Kanata, hires Han Solo and Chewbacca for a high-stakes job involving the criminal underworld.
• "The Bridge": Written by G. Willow Wilson with art by Elsa Charratier. This story explores a pivotal early conflict in the career of Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, showing her path to becoming a heroic leader for the Rebellion and Resistance.
• "Robot Resistance": Written and illustrated by Chris Eliopoulos. BB-8 embarks on a solo mission to infiltrate a First Order base, where he must outsmart enemies to help his friends.
