Star Wars: Ahsoka #1, released on July 10, 2024, is the first issue of an eight-part Marvel Comics limited series that officially adapts the Ahsoka Disney+ television series. Written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Steven Cummings and Georges Jeanty, the comic retells the events of the show's first episode, "Master and Apprentice". 

Plot Summary

Set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, the story follows former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano as she investigates a growing threat to the fragile New Republic. 

• The Hunt for Thrawn: Ahsoka is on a quest to find the lost Grand Admiral Thrawn before his allies can bring him back from exile to lead the Imperial remnants.
• A High-Stakes Escape: The plot is set in motion when a valuable prisoner, Morgan Elsbeth, is freed from New Republic custody by two mysterious dark-side Force users: Baylan Skoll and his apprentice, Shin Hati.
• Searching for Ezra: Central to Ahsoka's mission is the hope of finding her lost comrade, Ezra Bridger, who disappeared alongside Thrawn years earlier.
• Reunions: The search for a vital ancient map leads Ahsoka to reunite with her former ally, Sabine Wren, as they attempt to stop Elsbeth’s plans.
