Star Wars: Hidden Empire #1, released on November 16, 2022 (with a cover date of January 2023), is the first issue of a five-part Marvel Comics miniseries that serves as the final chapter in the "Qi'ra Trilogy". 

Storyline: "A Matter of Time"

Set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the story focuses on Lady Qi'ra and her criminal syndicate, Crimson Dawn, as they launch a final, desperate offensive against the Sith. 

• The Conflict: Emperor Palpatine has realized the true scale of Qi'ra's threat and moves to destroy her and Crimson Dawn.
• The Ultimate Weapon: Qi'ra's plan hinges on an ancient dark side artifact called the Fermata Cage, which is intended to freeze a moment in time and potentially unleash a power capable of destroying the Sith.
• The Alliances: To stand against the Empire, Qi'ra utilizes sleeper agents throughout galactic society and enlists the aid of the Knights of Ren and the Archivist.
• The Confrontation: The issue features a holographic confrontation between Qi'ra and the Emperor, where she reveals her hand and attempts to activate the Fermata Cage, causing a significant disturbance in the Force.
