Plot Summary

The story, titled "The Beginning of the End," picks up as the conflict within the Nihil Occlusion Zone reaches a breaking point. 

• The Mission: Jedi Master Keeve Trennis leads the Stormwall Defense Fleet in a desperate attempt to breach the Nihil's Stormwall.
• A Naboo Incursion: The "Tempest Breakers"—a motley group including Lourna Dee, Tey Sirrek, and Quin Carree—infiltrate Naboo to hunt for H'Tar, a survivor of Baron Boolan's horrific experiments.
• The Fear Element: While investigating the Royal Palace, the team falls under the influence of H'Tar, who uses the Force to manifest their deepest fears. Tey sees a twisted version of his former companion, Vildar Mac, while Lourna is haunted by her violent past as a Tempest Runner.
• Surprise Reinforcements: The mission is aided by the sudden arrival of Wookiee Jedi Master Kelnacca and his apprentice, Yarzion, who are working independently to liberate planets from Nihil control.
