Superior Carnage Annual #1 is a 2014 one-shot comic from Marvel Comics that serves as an epilogue to the Superior Carnage miniseries. Released on February 5, 2014, it restores the classic status quo for the villain by reuniting the symbiote with its original host, Cletus Kasady.

Story Summary: "Rinse and Repeat"

The story picks up with Cletus Kasady imprisoned and lobotomized, while the Carnage symbiote is held in quarantine at Spider Island. 

• The Escape: The symbiote breaks containment and begins hopping from host to host to reach Cletus.
• Key Appearance: It briefly bonds with a scientist named Carla Unger, marking her first appearance (often referred to as a "She-Carnage" variant).
• The Reunion: Despite Cletus being physically killed (suffocated) by a corrupt doctor earlier in the issue, the symbiote finds his corpse and resuscitates him, restoring his mind and their original bond.
• The Bloodbath: The issue concludes with a massive killing spree as Carnage slaughters everyone in the facility, officially returning to his "old times" murderous form.
