Superman # 1 2011 VF/NM

Superman # 1 (Volume 3), published on September 28, 2011, marked the launch of the New 52 era, a complete reboot of the DC Universe. 

Core Plot: "What Price Tomorrow?" 

The story establishes a new status quo for Superman and his supporting cast: 

• The Daily Planet: The iconic newspaper has been purchased by Morgan Edge and merged into the digital-focused Planet Global Network (PGN). The original Daily Planet building is demolished in this issue to make way for a more modern facility.
• Clark and Lois: In this rebooted timeline, Clark Kent and Lois Lane are not married. Lois is in a relationship with a man named Jonathan Carroll, and her dynamic with Clark is professional and somewhat strained.
• The Conflict: Superman faces a fire-based creature that emerges from the newly built Metropolis Metrodome. The story explores themes of a changing world where the media is more interested in social network buzz than "truth and justice".
