• The Transformation: The issue explains how Clark transitioned from a mysterious urban legend into the city's celebrated protector. It also highlights his struggle to balance his civilian life as a social-crusader journalist with his activities as a superhuman.
• The Ending: The story concludes with Clark officially moving into the city and setting his sights on the Daily Star (the "New 52" predecessor to the Daily Planet), as he fully commits to his new identity.
