Teen Titans # 1 2003 VF/NM

Teen Titans #1, released on July 16, 2003, launched a highly influential run by writer Geoff Johns and artist Mike McKone. This issue reboots the team following the events of Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day, combining classic characters with a new generation of heroes. 

Plot Synopsis

• A New Mentorship: Years after the original team disbanded, veteran Titans Cyborg, Starfire, and Beast Boy decide to reopen Titans Tower in San Francisco to mentor the next generation of heroes.
• Recruiting the New Generation: Invitations are sent to Robin (Tim Drake), Superboy (Conner Kent), Kid Flash (Bart Allen), and Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark). While initially reluctant due to the recent death of Donna Troy, they eventually agree to join.
• The Luthor Reveal: In a major cliffhanger, Robin receives a mysterious email from "Snapdragon" revealing that Superboy's human DNA was not from a random donor, but was cloned from Superman's arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.
