Teen Titans Annual # 1 2006 NM-

Teen Titans Annual #1, published in March 2006, is a key tie-in to the Infinite Crisis event. It features the return of legendary Titans writer Marv Wolfman, who co-wrote the issue alongside series regular Geoff Johns. 

Plot Synopsis

The story, titled "Love & War," follows Superboy (Conner Kent) and Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark) as they seek a moment of peace in Smallville after narrowly surviving the destruction of the Crisis. 

• A "Bloody Valentine": While attempting to find time alone, their retreat is interrupted by the global chaos of the Crisis.
• Blüdhaven Crisis: Robin and other Titans are dispatched to the ruins of Blüdhaven to assist in rescue efforts following a devastating chemical attack by Chemo.
• The Luthor Threat: The issue also features the "Lex Luthor" of the time (actually Alexander Luthor Jr.) infiltrating Titans Tower to monitor Superboy's recovery in a restorative healing tank.
• Character Milestone: The issue is noted for a tender moment where Conner and Cassie finally consummate their relationship before the tragic events of the main Infinite Crisis miniseries.
