Thanos Annual # 1 2024 NM

Thanos Annual # 1 (2024), released on June 26, 2024, is the start of Marvel's "Infinity Watch" annual event, in which Thanos learns that the Infinity Stones have bonded with living individuals. 

In the main story, Thanos embarks on a new quest for the Infinity Stones after the events of his solo series, believing they are needed to make his new "Death Stone" work properly. 

• The Hunt Begins: Using his recreated Infinity Stone scanner, Thanos tracks the Stones but is shocked to discover they are no longer inanimate objects. Instead, each has bonded with a living person.
• The New Infinity Watch: The known hosts for the stones are Star (Reality Stone), Quantum (Space Stone), Overtime (Time Stone), Prince of Power (Power Stone), and Multitude (Mind Stone).
• The Missing Stone: Thanos realizes there are six stones but only five known people listed, leading to a mystery about the sixth person.
• Body Horror Encounter: In a graphic and emotionless sequence, Thanos tracks down and dissects the host of the Reality Stone, Star, killing her to reclaim the gem. This act sets the tone for the brutal quest that continues into other 2024 annuals, including Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 and Immortal Thor Annual #1.
