Thanos: Death Notes # 1 2002 NM

Thanos: Death Notes # 1 is a one-shot anthology comic book published by Marvel Comics in December 2022 that serves as a tie-in to the Thor comic series, exploring the Mad Titan's past, present, and a terrifying potential future. 

The issue's overarching narrative stems from a vision Thor had, in which he saw his own death at the hands of a future Thanos who wielded a Mjolnir encrusted with all the Infinity Stones, including a mysterious black one. 

• Thor's Investigation: Believing Thanos is missing or dead, Thor travels to the moon of Titan to search for clues in Thanos' personal history and "death notes" to prevent this dark future from coming true.
• Anthology Stories: The comic features several short stories that delve into different aspects of Thanos' character and past:
• One story explores a new detail about Thanos' early life and a forgotten love named Carella, shedding light on his relationship with Lady Death.
• Another, more action-oriented story, shows Thanos in a bar searching for Gamora, which leads to a fight with an armada of Docatians.
• The Black Stone: Through his search, Thor discovers that someone, later revealed to be Corvus Glaive, has already removed information regarding the mysterious seventh, black Infinity Stone, setting up future events in the Thor series.
