The Amazing Spider-Man # 59 2024 NM-

The Amazing Spider-Man # 59, released by Marvel Comics on October 9, 2024, is a direct continuation of the brutal, non-stop fight between Spider-Man and the villain Tombstone (Lonnie Lincoln). 

The issue is primarily an action sequence, picking up immediately after the cliffhanger of the previous issue where Spider-Man and Tombstone crash through a window. 

• The Chase: Tombstone is trying to track down and kill his daughter, Janice Lincoln (the Beetle), who managed to escape after his lawyer bailed him out of prison.
• The Battle: The fight quickly moves from the streets to a subway station, where the two powerful characters brutally brawl amidst passing trains.
• A Moment of Humanity: As the fight peaks, Spider-Man manages to kick Tombstone onto the train tracks with a train rapidly approaching. Despite their brutal conflict, Spider-Man saves Tombstone from being hit by the train, injuring himself in the process.
• The Cliffhanger: Both characters are left injured and unconscious on the tracks. Tombstone briefly considers finishing Spider-Man off with a piece of wood but is too injured himself, and the issue ends with both men down for the count.
