The Amazing Spider-Man: Hit and Run #3, published in February 1991, is the final installment of a three-part promotional comic series focused on bicycle and road safety. Like the previous issues, it was produced by Marvel in collaboration with the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and originally distributed for free in Canada. 

Plot & Storyline: "Hit and Run!"

Set in Toronto, the story highlights iconic landmarks such as the CN Tower and the SkyDome. 

  • The Conflict: A young boy named Phil Danton is seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident caused by a drunk driver while he is participating in a bicycle safety demonstration.
  • Key Guest Star: The issue features Danny Ketch (Ghost Rider), who happens to be Phil's cousin and arrives at the scene just as the driver flees.
  • The Action: Spider-Man and Ghost Rider team up to track down the driver, while the narrative emphasizes the consequences of drunk driving and the importance of road safety.
  • Creative Team: Written by Dwayne McDuffie with art by Jim Craig.
