The Infinity Crusade # 1 1993 NM

The Infinity Crusade # 1 is the first issue of the 1993 six-issue limited series, released with a cover date of June 1993. It is the third and final installment of Jim Starlin's iconic "Infinity Trilogy," following The Infinity Gauntlet and The Infinity War. 

• Plot Overview: The story begins with Adam Warlock sensing a major cosmic disturbance. He is confronted by the "good" aspect of his personality, which he had expelled long ago, now calling herself the Goddess. The Goddess gathers the most spiritually minded heroes of Earth—including Captain America, Thor, Invisible Woman, Moon Knight, and Doctor Strange—by showing them a symbol of hope. Manipulated by her promise of universal enlightenment, these heroes are teleported to her newly created planet, "Paradise Omega," to join her crusade. The remaining heroes on Earth are left confused and must figure out what happened to their allies.
• Key Characters: Features a vast array of Marvel heroes who are either recruited by or left behind by the Goddess, including Adam Warlock, Thanos, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men.
• Creative Team: Written by the architect of the Infinity Saga, Jim Starlin, with pencils by Ron Lim and inks by Al Milgrom. The issue featured a gold foil cover and a 30-year anniversary "Avengers Assemble!" logo.
