The Multiversity: Mastermen # 1 2015 NM-

The Multiversity: Mastermen # 1, released on February 18, 2015, is the seventh chapter of Grant Morrison’s The Multiversity saga. Set on the nightmarish parallel world of Earth-10 (Earth-X), the 40-page one-shot explores a history where Nazi Germany won World War II. 

"Splendour Falls" 

The story opens in 1939 with Adolf Hitler discovering an alien infant in a crashed rocket in the Sudetenland. This child grows up to become Overman, a Nazi super-weapon who ensures Germany’s total global victory by 1956. 

• A Tainted Utopia: Sixty years later, Earth-10 is a technologically advanced paradise, but one built on the remains of millions of genocide victims.
• Overman's Guilt: Unlike his original heroic counterpart, Overman is plagued by deep remorse and recurring nightmares of a ruined house—the manifestation of Lord Broken of the Gentry.
• The Insurgence: A diverse group of rebels known as the Freedom Fighters, led by the mysterious Uncle Sam, wages a war against the fascist regime using weapons from parallel universes.
• The Climax: During a high-society performance of Wagner's Ring Cycle, the Human Bomb successfully detonates himself on the New Reichsmen's orbiting satellite base.
• The Aftermath: Overman is unable to stop the massive satellite from crashing into Metropolis, killing millions and signaling the "beginning of the end" for the Nazi empire. 
• Overman (Karl Kant): The guilt-ridden Nazi version of Superman.
• The New Reichsmen: A dark mirror of the Justice League, including Leatherwing (Batman), Brunnhilde (Wonder Woman), Blitzen (Flash), and Underwaterman (Aquaman).
• Freedom Fighters: A team representing groups targeted by the Nazis, featuring a Jewish Phantom Lady, a gay Ray, and an African Black Condor.
