The Punisher: Silent Night # 1 2005 VF/NM

The Punisher: Silent Night # 1, released on December 14, 2005 (cover-dated February 2006), is a holiday-themed one-shot published under the Marvel Knights imprint. The issue is a grim, self-contained story that subverts typical Christmas cheer through Frank Castle's brutal pursuit of justice. 

The story follows Frank Castle as he tracks a former mobster and informant who has been living under the witness protection program. 

• The Mission: Frank is determined to execute the informant for his past crimes.
• The Obstacle: To reach his target, the Punisher must infiltrate an orphanage during a Christmas event.
• The "Greatest Foe": In a dark twist on holiday tropes, Frank is forced to confront a man dressed as Santa Claus—described as "fat, dressed in red, and sporting a white beard"—who stands between him and his target.
