The Punisher Summer Special # 2, published by Marvel Comics with an August 1992 cover date, is a 52-page anthology one-shot featuring three distinct stories. The issue is particularly well-known for its gritty painted cover by legendary artist Simon Bisley.

According to mycomicshop.com and punishercomics.com, the issue includes the following three segments:

  • "Rough Cut": Written by Pat Mills with pencils by Mike McKone. The villainous Colonel De Sade returns (following his debut in the previous year's special) with a plan to film a snuff movie starring the Punisher.
  • "High Risk": Written by Chuck Dixon with pencils by Flint Henry. In a more satirical take, a persistent salesman attempts to pitch life insurance to Frank Castle while he is in the middle of an intense gunfight.
  • "The Local": Written by Chuck Dixon with art by John Hicklenton. This story follows the Punisher as he violently intervenes when thugs harass passengers during a New York City subway ride.
  • Creative Team: Writers include Pat Mills and Chuck Dixon, with interior art by Mike McKone, Flint Henry, and John Hicklenton.
