The Ravagers # 1 2012 VF/NM

The Ravagers # 1, released on May 30, 2012, is the debut issue of an ongoing DC Comics series launched during the "Second Wave" of The New 52 initiative. Written by Howard Mackie and illustrated by Ian Churchill, the series spins directly out of the events of the "The Culling" crossover involving the Teen Titans, Legion Lost, and Superboy. 

The story follows a ragtag group of superpowered teenagers who have just escaped from The Colony, a subterranean prison run by the nefarious organization N.O.W.H.E.R.E.. Led by Caitlin Fairchild (formerly of Gen 13), the refugees find themselves stranded in the snowy wilderness of Alaska. 

The group is traumatized and deeply suspicious of one another, especially Fairchild, who was previously a scientist working for their captors. As they struggle to find a safe path forward, they are hunted by two elite assassins sent by the villain Harvest: Rose Wilson (Ravager) and Warblade, who are ordered to kill any escapees not selected for Harvest's own elite squad.
