The Vision & the Scarlet Witch # 1 Casanovas Foil Variant 2025 NM

The Vision & the Scarlet Witch # 1 (May 21, 2025) depicts the titular characters reuniting to investigate mysterious doors that promise miracles and reunions with lost loved ones. The story focuses on Scarlet Witch's extreme measures to save Vision after he is mortally wounded during the investigation. 

The issue, released for the 50th anniversary of their comic book wedding, merges supernatural mystery with the complex relationship between Wanda Maximoff and the Vision. 

• Mysterious Doors: Black, enigmatic doors appear all over the world, luring people in with promises of connecting them with lost loved ones. However, those who enter do not return.
• The Investigation: One of these doors appears near Wanda's magic shop. When the Vision investigates the deadly truth behind the doors, he is mortally wounded, seemingly by an old foe, the Grim Reaper, who is trying to escape death's clutches.
• Desperate Measures: To save Vision's life, the Scarlet Witch resorts to extreme and unexpected magical measures. The results of her spell are unlike anything either character anticipated, forcing them to confront the nature of life, death, and their shared bond.
• The Threat: The issue sets up a battle against a "creeping, corrosive evil from beyond not just the grave, but beyond the universe itself," which will test the couple's relationship and souls. 

The five-issue limited series is a part of writer Steve Orlando's ongoing Scarlet Witch run, which has explored her various family bonds.
