Thor Annual # 1 2015 VF/NM

Thor Annual # 1 (2015) is an anthology comic featuring three distinct stories, each centered around a different version of the character: Young Thor, the contemporary female Thor (Jane Foster), and King Thor from the future. 

• Young Thor's Drinking Contest: Written by wrestling superstar CM Punk with art by Rob Guillory, this tale features a brash, pre-worthy Young Thor who decides that the best way to prove himself worthy of Mjolnir is by entering a drinking competition. He ends up in a farcical match against the demon Mephisto, which Young Thor ultimately wins through trickery (pretending to drink).
• The New Thor's Adventure: This story, from writer Noelle Stevenson and artist Marguerite Sauvage, follows the new, mysterious female Thor as she goes on a series of "side quests" with the Warriors Three. The tone is light and charming, with the new Thor demonstrating her unique approach to heroism and bonding with Thor's old allies, all while her identity remains a secret.
• King Thor's Birthday: Long-time Thor writer Jason Aaron is joined by artist Timothy Truman for a tale set in the distant future. Thor, now King Thor and grandfather to the "Girls of Thunder," is presented with a unique birthday gift: his granddaughters use ancient magic to re-spark life on the dead planet Earth, essentially creating a new Garden of Eden and the new humanity. 

The issue offers a mixed bag of tales that celebrate the various aspects of the Thor mythos, from lighthearted comedy to epic, future-spanning narratives.
